A cable tensioner made with heavy duty spring applied rollers to suit industrial hydraulic winches and come in a variety of sizes.

When installed correctly the spring applied roller provides pressure to the layering of the rope onto the drum, this helps maintain even layering without overlap of the wire rope. The constant pressure also helps prevent the birds nesting effect of the wire rope on the drum caused by cable recoil when tension is removed from the rope.

A cable tensioner assists with even layering it helps prevent overlap and recoil birds nesting which can cause cable kinks and crush. This will help maintain your rope in a safer condition for longer.
